1 - A Paris morning
I love Paris, the romance of the place, the smell of fresh baguettes, of coffee, the cobbled roads and the language. I think the French language is so sexy. Imagine waking up in the same bed, in each other’s arms, you, Lucy, and I, stretching, on crisp starched white sheets, reaching out and touching each other’s naked body.
The morning sun streams in through the open windows, we don’t bother drawing the curtains, why should we? Our love is to be celebrated, shared with the world. There’s nothing I ashamed of, to be so much in love, to be so happy.
I get out of bed, naked, open the door to our hotel room, pick up the covered tray and bring it back to bed. The smell of fresh bread and coffee fills the room. Lifting the cloth, I see a choice of bread and croissants, a selection of fruits, strawberries, blueberries and cherries. There is an assortment of jams and freshly churned homemade butter.
I look over at your slumbering form, your long black hair falling across your face, your pale smooth naked body covered in tattoos, my heart skips a beat. I love this woman so much.
You turn around, open your eyes and look at me, into me. I can feel your outpouring of love, care and concern, emanating from your deep spirituality, from your very soul.
I do not know how this is possible but at that moment, I fall in love with you even more. I’d thought I’ve given my all, but you’ve manage to draw more out of me. You’ve made me grow as a person, as your partner, lover and soulmate.
You made me more than I was, would have been, could have been. I love you more and more with each and every day Lucy.
